Going into the 2019 season Scio will need to replace key positions on both sides of the line if they want to contend for another league title and deep playoff run. Scio has holes on the Offensive line due to graduation that will need to be filled if their offense is to run as fluid as it has the last few seasons. This season more players are coming out than in 2018, reversing the downward trend of the past 3 years. The biggest addition will be Garret Workinger, a basketball player at heart that decided to play football his senior year. Workinger is a fast athlete and is already one of the most athletic players on the team. Workinger will attempt to fill the void of stud running back Daniel Simmons, while also learning to play Safety.

Look for Scio to be competitive in league play, as Scio plays in a relatively easy league. Look for Scio to finish at least third in their league as Blanchet, Salem Academy, and Corbett are in full rebuild mode. We are predicting that Scio will have a quality year and go 7-2 in the regular season, and make the playoffs for the 6th year in a row.
