- Cottage Grove Lions
2019-2020 Record: 19-6
2019-2020 League Finish: 1st
2019-2020 Playoff Seed: #8
Prior to the COVID-19 shutdown, Cottage Grove was getting ready to face off with likely champion Philomath in the state quarterfinals. Sporting a 17-5 record against 4A opponents, Cottage Grove had their best season since they won the state title in 2010. They will look to returning Second Team All-State Post Matty Ladd to lead the Lions back to Forest Grove.
- Marist Catholic Spartans
2019-2020 Record: 13-10
2019-2020 League Finish: 3rd
2019-2020 Final Rank: #17
It was a wild 2020 for a young Spartans team who at times was the best team in their league and other days the fourth best. In a six day span, they upset the eventual league champion in Cottage Grove on the road then six days later lost a home league playoff game to Junction City in which they only scored 25 total points. Marist Catholic went on to lose in the play-ins to Banks but will look to their nine returning varsity players, half of which were freshman, to make a run at Cottage Grove for the league title.

Sunset Conference
- Coquille Red Devils
2019-2020 Record: 25-5
2019-2020 League Finish: 2nd
2019-2020 Playoff Seed: #9 (Finished 4th in state)
For a Red Devil side who’ve made the quarterfinals or better in each of the last five years, the biggest challenge coming into 2020-2021 will be replacing Morgan Baird. Baird, a current freshman at Portland State, averaged 24 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists last season for Coquille. A three time All-State selection and Player of the Year selection in 2018 when Coquille fell in the state title game by one point, she will be almost impossible to replace. However, the Red Devils will be lucky to return Honorable Mention All-State Wing Drew Wilson. Wilson, along with five returning varsity players from last season, will look to pick up where Baird left off to continue the trips to the Elite 8. We predict Coquille will battle with Toledo and Waldport for the league title this season.
- Waldport Fighting Irish
2019-2020 Record: 10-15
2019-2020 League Finish: 4th
2019-2020 Final Rank: #23
Returning all but one senior, this Waldport side who found themselves one game away from the state tournament last season will look to get over the hump in 2021. The Fighting Irish enjoyed a thrilling series with the Toledo Boomers in which Waldport got the last laugh with a 43-27 league playoff win in Toledo last season. That series could take center stage again this year as the second playoff spot is up for grabs in the Sunset Conference. Waldport is returning thirteen varsity players including their best players in Kylie Burk and Hadley McSharry.
2.) Toledo Boomers
2019-2020 Record: 14-10
2019-2020 League Finish: 3rd
2019-2020 Final Rank: #21
For the Boomers in 2021, their goal will be to finish the job against Waldport. Last season, the Boomers beat them soundly in a tournament game, then closed out two close league affairs before getting blown out at home in their league playoff game. With the Irish and Boomers returning nearly their entire 2020 cast, who matured more will determine the #2 spot.
4.) Bandon Tigers

2019-2020 League Finish: 1st
2019-2020 Playoff Seed: #5 (Finished 3rd in state

3rd Team All-State Forward Ashley Strain and Honorable Mention All-State Wing Eduara Rolan.

Key for Bandon: Rely on the post play of Kennedy Turner to battle in the league playoffs.
5.) Gold Beach Panthers
2019-2020 Record: 11-13
2019-2020 League Finish: 5th
