Mid-Major Media was established for three primary reasons: to give coverage to those athletes and schools who go disproportionately and unjustly undercovered by standard forms of media across the state, to give greater appreciation to those athletes and coaches who get less attention than their counterparts at larger classifications, and to provide a means from which athletes, coaches, schools, and communities can get greater amounts and more widely consumed forms of media attention. In short, Mid-Major Media exists to bridge the gap between what should be and what instead is the current reality for middle classification athletics.
